We have been training with Abdal for 10 years and during those years he has also become a very good friend. His attention is 100% on you, on the correct technique and the small details that will make your workout more effective. He pushes you but he always makes it a pleasure. If you are not sure that you can commit for a long period, I'd advise you to sign up for at least a few sessions to make sure that you have the right technique and to set up a workout plan. Then you can follow up with occasional sessions. I see so many people in other gyms with the wrong technique. They are wasting time and could injure themselves. If you are used to fancy gyms, you might be concerned that Legends is not for you, and women might feel that it's a gym for men. I normally train at an expensive Nuffield, and I can tell you that there is a great sense of community at Legends, that the people are much more considerate than in other gyms and that women feel as comfortable as in any other gyms. Yes the machines are old, but it's part of the fun and in some cases they are better than new ones. I have seen some of the trainers at more expensive gyms not really paying enough attention to their clients, letting them use weights that are way too heavy with poor technique, and also making a boring work out. I highly recommend Abdal as your personal trainer. He is also very knowledgeable with injuries. You will see the results and enjoy your time at the gym.

I started working with Abdel to build strength and gain muscle, but I’ve gained so much more than just that. Abdel has truly helped me grow not only in physical strength but in confidence. He has a way of breaking down complex bodybuilding concepts and explaining how each exercise targets specific muscles. He’s also great at giving constructive feedback on diet and ensuring I maintain proper form, which has made all the difference.
What I love most about Abdel’s training style is how personalized it is. He uses creative analogies and metaphors to keep me motivated, and his direct, honest approach always pushes me just the right amount. I often feel anxious or unsure about certain exercises, but Abdel always helps ground me, building my confidence every step of the way. It’s such a relief to have a trainer who creates a safe, supportive environment, no matter your background or fitness level.
